We are growing our CTE teaching team at AISU and looking for a CTE Department Head and Engineering Teacher, Computer Science Chair and Digital Design Teacher for the 2017 -2018 school year.

Qualifications:
CTE Department Head / Engineering Teacher:
Qualified applicants for the CTE Department Head/ Engineering Teacher should have strong leadership skills and experience with mentoring staff. In addition applicants should have a strong technical background, preferably based in industry as well as a knowledge of cutting edge practices in STEM education. Applicants should have a passion for education and exploration and be able to build positive relationships with staff, students and families. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of state CTE requirements.
Computer Science Chair:
Qualified applicants should have a strong background in computer science and be familiar with current programming languages. The computer science instructor will have responsibilities for teaching a variety of computer programming courses in both middle and high school. Applicants should have a passion for education and exploration, be able to build positive relationships with students, and be comfortable communicating with parents. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Programming.
Digital Design Teacher (Part Time)
We are looking for a creative professional to grow the Digital Design Program at AISU in our new Mac Design Lab. The Digital Design teacher will be responsible for teaching graphic design and digital photography courses for both middle and high school students. In addition we are looking for a candidate who has the passion and drive to build a program and create a pathway of introductory to advanced courses. Qualified candidates should be familiar with current digital design software including the Adobe Creative Suite. Background in teaching middle or high school is prefered.
