and a business card, or your blog address. Or just drop off your stuff at the space and run. We want to show people what you make.

I think this is a really cool opportunity. One of the things that will differentiate us from a club is the ability to present what we make.

Artists do this all the time, but makers are typically a little more tinker-focused, and still learning how to display their works. That said, for those who can close the loop and make their tinker-results show-worthy, they win, and the makerspace wins. And the people who come looking for inspiration win, too.

Consider how you might present your work so that a Patron of the Arts understands what you're doing and is awed by it. Who knows, maybe one of our guests is out looking for inspiring creative minds and organizations to give money to.

How big of an area?  How secure will it be?  I have a few things I can loan out, but depends on how secure i would feel about leaving it there.  A few things i wouldnt care as much if they walked off.

We will have volunteers from make salt lake, or if you know people you
can ask to volunteer that would be helpful, aka not uaf people to
babysit the table and answer questions. I haven't started in on
divying up the space yet but we've got a 40x40 foot tent and I asked
for extra tables large and small. Let me see if I can find the list. I
wanted people to be able to come in and sit down and take a break +/-
draw on tiles.

Due Saturday the 17th. I have 3 6' tables and 10 8' tables so I still need to figure out how to arrange everything. I'm going to start asking for space requirements from people.

Also if you have something, can you do a short write-up? What it is, how you made it, how you came up with the idea, think of it like an art gallery piece. I'd like to give people information on your project because our tent is for them to get more than just a look and then wander away. I want a connection so anything you'd like to add would be great.
