I found this OC mini maker faire kickstarter project. Check it out and
back it if you want a mini maker faire in Southern California. If you
back it you get tickets anyway so it's like pre-ordering.

Also... MakerPlace is having an open house on Saturday June 9th. I'll

Hi All,

I have been working on building my first 3d printer (the Prusa).  I think this is a really interesting project, and I would like to meet people with similiar interests.  If anyone meets up or would like to meet up, please let me know.  

I am a mechanical engineer, and pretty good with modeling and mechanical design.  However the electronics and software aren't my strong suit.
