Reprap Meetup

Would anyone be interested in having a meetup sometime? I've got my machine running pretty well, but I'd love to get some suggestions from the more experienced guys on how to improve my print quality. It would be fun to see what other people around here are working on too–maybe someone would bring a delta?

I was thinking sometime on a Saturday. I can reserve a decent room in the UTC area if we need a space, or maybe someone on the list has a hookup at MakerPlace or the like.

As a bonus, I have a Mystery Box of Electronic Junk I will share at the meeting.

We have been having them thru biotechnbeyond and sometimes at One World Lab (OWL) but the announcements made through BTnB meetup - http://www.meetup.com/DIYbio-San-Diego/. 

Biotechnbeyond is great because its an equipped lab with an bunch of old equipment that you can play around with and its totally chill .. plenty of electrical hookups and you may get some gigs because its not just reprappers that show up. 

We probably have a meetup either next week or week after. I think we are going to discuss how to set up a acoustic droplet dispenser, but there will be 3D printers set up and random reprap parts.

Cool. Would it be weird if I brought my machine along in the hope of getting some advice? Is there time for that sort of thing?

I am trying to have a meeting scheduled the Thursday after next. BTnB
is in the midst of setting up more lab benches not sure how long this
will take, but Joseph is cc'ed so that he has it on his radar

But yes that place is set up for people to bring in equipment and play
around with it. That is why I like that place.
