Hi All

Kevin Hayes and I are going to visit The Tech Garden incubator on Thursday, Sept 11 and then attend the Grand Opening of Syracuse Alternative Learning and Technology MakerSpace (SALT).

Tony Kershaw, Innovation Specialist at The Tech Garden is going to be our host. Tony and his wife attended FIKA on Friday.

The Vader Systems "limo" leaves from I90 and Transit at 1:30 pm. We've got two spare seats!

Would anyone else like to join us?

George Hampton, Kevin Hayes and I visited Syracuse on Thursday. Both Tech Garden and SALT are impressive. The Tech Garden has been educating and incubating for the Syracuse Startup community for 10 years. They've got a lot going on, 45 active companies in the space currently. They have a large student program that has created 110 companies, 39 still running today with 80 jobs created. SALT is a well equipped and dynamic new MakerSpace.

Tony Kershaw from Tech Garden was a wonderful host. He's working on his idea of a startup bus to get folks in the Syracuse Startup community to be more involved in the Startup activities in Buffalo, Rochester, Toronto and Boston.
