Welcome to the MakerSpace Buffalo Discussion Group!

We're an informal collaboration group formed within FIKA Buffalo to explore the question "Can we build a Worldclass MakerSpace in Buffalo?"

MakerSpaces can be many things, they can be places to create art, provide adult learning, invent a gizmo, do science, socialize or start a business but most of all to build an open diverse collaborative community of people who want to MAKE things.

In a way, MakerSpaces can be the physical portal between the virtual world of bits flying around on the Internet and the everyday world of atoms where we actually live and get things done.

The group of folks around FIKA, d!g, the Foundry, Buffalo Lab and the general Buffalo Startup community have the privilege of front row seats to Buffalo 2.0.

We think Buffalo 2.0 should have a WorldClass MakerSpace.
