biodiesel. The Dr. Pepper method is a good introduction as it lets
everyone make their own small batch start to finish

It takes too long for an evening meeting, but would work for a
Saturday. Figure on < $15 each for supplies. More if you want your own
gloves, face mask, lab coat, etc.. The only potentially dangerous part
is mixing the methoxide and adding it to the hot oil, and the optional
sulfuric acid reduction which is required if your waste oil is in
really, really bad shape (sourced from any fast food restaurant).
I'd suggest waiting until the weather cools down a bit as the safety
gear would be uncomfortable in the current space.
