Hi,
I broke the ceramics around my hot end during a cleanup and I am wondering if you guys recommend an alternative to Cotronics Resbond, which is what Makergear uses, according to the website.

you can order small pots of it from MG. I've used muffler repair putty/cement/filler to make a heat core. cost is about the same as with the resbond in small quantities I think. The muffler repair does have metal in it so there is the shorting potential, but I've not had any issues.

I think Metal Magic would probably work, but it runs about double what Resbond does cost wise, and I can't say either way as to how effective it would be.
