I'm using an M2.
I had the extruder heated up to 185 C and the extrusion of the filament began to work until I heard a bad grinding sound from the gear. I reversed the filament and tried again with the same result. I reversed the filament and then removed the fans. There were some PLA shards around the gear, so I removed the plastic housing that holds the extruder, cleaned the gear, and then cleaned the plastic housing. Same result on attempt #2.
I took off the plastic housing again, and then saw that the PLA filament appears to have broken off inside the feed channel *below* the gear and above the extruder. The remaining PLA filament is flush with the housing and I can't grab it to remove it.
The printer is still apart.
Is there any way to remove the broken filament from this feed channel?
I think I'm in deep trouble with this.
