There will be a tour of the educational makerspace at 11am at Purdue in New Albany.  The address is:

Purdue Technology Center
3000 Technology Ave
New Albany, IN 47150

Anyone who can't make this meetup can e-mail Frank directly at lue...@msn.com to arrange a tour at a different time; he's going to work on getting people individual or other group visits.

The goal is to showcase a current educational makerspace, their tools and techniques, and to educate interested folks on the tools in a modern university makerspace.  This is a great opportunity to ask questions and find out techniques.  If you can't make it but want me to ask some questions feel free to send some to me.

Hi Ben -

Thanks for the heads up.  I think I'll be there, maybe with a colleague of mine from IUS.  I was there a couple of years ago to pick up some old used kilns they were throwing away, but I didn't really get the whole tour.  It's a pretty cool place from what I can remember.  I may have to leave early as I have a meeting with the City at noon, but I'll stay as long as I can.

Thanks again!

Hi Ben and group -

Something has come up here at school that we have to attend to, so we're not going to be able to make it to the tour today.  Apologies for the late notice.

I bet the tour is going to be great, though.

talk to you soon
Brian
