I have the 1mm thermistor with batch 9. do I need to target temp 20
degrees higher than normal? I downloaded the pulley gcode and am
having problems with the raft sticking. tried double sided tape but
still havent finished a pulley yet. I did bump the temp up a bit but
it still didnt work and when it started the temp was high but later in
build it went back to 220. I had it from 220 to 240 trying different
temps and build start heights. Is there another place in the g code
that changes temp? The only place I saw it was in the first few lines
of code. Well anyway my plastic got stuck and I am now taking it apart
again to readjust idler wheel. hopefully i didnt make the plastic to
hot and have it leave a residue that I cant get out.

Search through your gcode for lines starting with M104. I've seen
multiple temperature change lines in the few objects I've tried.

It is the code for setting the extruder temperature. See http://replicat.org/mcodes for more info. (I think there are also Mcodes for setting the stage temperature, so this list may not be complete)

It's a lot easier just to install a new table. That way you don't have
to try and correct the g code on every sketch.

I am in the same boat (Batch 8 Makerbot). I have gathered _a_ set of
firmware source files and I got them to compile last night, but I'm
still looking for a way to check what I built against the standard
download hex file to ensure I grabbed the right stuff in the first
place and built it correctly.

I also wouldn't mind experimenting with the I2C LCD display stuff I
saw - I have the displays already, and at least one of them (made by
Matrix Orbital) does have an I2C interface right there. Being able to
read real-time reports from the bot about temp and such looks very
interesting.
