I have fully assmbled my Makerbot w/ stepstruder mk7. When I connected
to my computer (win7) it tried to find the device but now the makerbot
shows up and says that the device could not start (code 10). The
ReplicatorG also cannot find a port to use. I don't know if maybe I
connected some cables wrong, the ones that come from the big motor to
the axis drivers. Please Help :)

Make sure to pick the right driver for your machine, If you haven't tried that already.

You need to pick the driver and the comm port number in the software.

I have tried downloading all te appropriate drivers for the adruino
mega 2560. In the ReplicatorG I have also been able to select the
machine type but when I go under serial port, none show up. When I try
"upload new firmware", the uploading goes fine until it tells me to
select a port to connect to and there is no option to select. I
randomly clicked and it went to the part where I can upload and reset
and I tried that and nothing happened. I'm guessing I do need to
select a port before I try resetting but I can't seem to fix that
problem. The ReplicatorG continues to say that it cannot find a port
to use.

Extra info: I am using a windows 7 computer.
I've tried connecting the USB to every USB port but nothing has
happened.
I also am my sure of I possibly plugged in all the cables correctly
for the big gray box motor that features a 20pin connector since the
instructions were very vague about that.

Make sure that you are connecting to the USB port of the Makerbot Motherboard (v2.4)
and NOT the USB port of the extruder controller. (You only plug USB into the
extruder controller when you wish to upgrade its firmware.)

Did you "rescan serial ports"?  The port numbers change if you unplug the usb cord and replug it while your computer is still on.  For example, my ports are COM4 and COM7 for my two Cupcakes at startup.  When I unplug them and plug them back while Windows 7 or my computer is on, I will have to rescan ports under RepG and end up getting COM11 and COM12 as the new ports.

I suspect you have a problem with your USB drivers.  When I set up my ToM last week I had to go in and manually install the (I think) Arduino driver.  Go to you windows device manager and check to see if anything has a yellow error icon beside it.  If the one for a USB ports or devices shows the icon, open its properties and click on "update driver".  Manually check the "drivers" sub-directory in the RepG directory and you should find the appropriate driver.

Hope this helps.
