I am definitely not satisfied as I am up to 12 messages now. About 2 every hour.

I received a couple. I didn't even notice the reply address was Makerbot. I just thought they were spam, since there was nothing defining in the body of the email, and deleted them.

I have not received anything from MBI recently. Checked spam and not there either.

I had five this morning spaced over 50 minutes.  I couldn't tell who they were from, so I deleted them...

I got a few.. and at least for me they were nonsensical since they pointed to a site that required logon credentials.....

I got one today, it was poorly written and didn't even look like it was intended to be sent.  It looked like spam at first glance.  I never bothered to fill it out.  The only check mark I'd be interested in checking wouldn't be on the form.

"Do you think that Makerbot is trying to recreate the success of Apple circa 1980s by overhyping the products and then charging an unjustifiable amount of money for technology that already exists for a fraction of the cost?  I.E. Do we charge too much for our products"

I'd mark "YES"!  But they won't put that question on their survey because they already know the answer.

I was simply concerned it was a phishing attempt

I got thirteen of the surveys. Definitely unwanted spam. I couldn't even open the survey this morning, was probably taken down.

I just got one about 20 minutes ago.  Only one, so far.  Does anybody know Bre Pettis's email address so we can forward this spam to him (and really let him know what we think)?

I got 18 so far but I think it is because they like me so much and were thinking about me. Thats kinda nice that they remembered my email. The last one stopped at 12:46.

For grins, I decided to click on the link for the survey just to see what
it was about. I was very quickly met with this response,

More than one attempt is not allowed for this survey.

Of course, I had never clicked the link before nor attempted the survey.
Moreover, I'm using a static IP address on the public internet which no
one else could have used (since it's mine). As such, tracking and blocking
by IP even would not be applicable. My guess: they're unique tokens for
each of the e-mails they sent out weren't terribly unique.

I did too. I even got a phone call from a MB sales Representative. I didn't call back.

I got this email (one).
The survey replies " More than one attempt is not allowed for this survey."
Are they going to give up on this ?
