What's the deal with Thingiverse not showing any preview pics while browsing the latest uploads in "New and Noteworthy"?

Appears to start showing some pics for items uploaded 10 hours ago?
9 hours and sooner, SOL.

if you click to view the item, the one selected as default for the preview is the placeholder for images, not the image?

Ever hear of change management? Maybe a test and dev environment(s)? No wonder the firmware and software is buggy as hell. The same level of software management is being applied to production Thingiverse.

Seriously, I hope someone from Stratasys sees this and puts the smackdown on MBI for this moronic implementation of software development with no change management. If I can see this from the outside, it's not just a problem, it's a management problem and method of "business as usual".

It went down like this:
"Hey, I'm just gonna push these patches on the way out the door tonight to the webserver, no big deal. Yeah, it should be fine, I mean what  could wrong while we are closed for the Holiday?"

It's the Cult of Done mentality. Just push it through and worry about details later.

Yeah, we never update a customer or code on a weekend or holiday unless we want to be working over that holiday. I think Apple did this once and it bit them.

Well, somebody is working the Holiday and fixed it.

Wonder who got that call?
Wonder who that call came from?
You think maybe someone at Stratasys watches this group now?

The real mentality behind it.
