I'm in charge of billing for the various 3D printers in our office. Is there a way to export a print history log file (like on Dimension or ZCorp printers)? I can't seem to find any such file, but need some way to track print usage.  We have a MakerBot Replicator 2 and a new Z18.

Thanks!

Not sure about the Z18. You may want to check with Makerbot.
As for the rep2 it has very limited space on the board and does not have the ability to save such logs.
You can track print time and see how many hours the rep2 was printing that day by subtracting the previous days total print time.
If your running sailfish firmware you can see more options like a filament odometer that you can also reset daily.

Here at the College, we register all print jobs into a Google Spreadsheet a.k.a. Queue.
When you go to compile to .x3g, make sure you select "preview" because that will give you the estimated amount of material used and approximate the time.
It's easy to setup formulas and different material and have the cost calculated.
It's a bit manual, but it's better than nothing.
