I bought Oil Orange Terpene x 5-Fold Dilimonene. It's kosher and food grade (if that matters). I'd like to make a limonene bath but don't know what portion water and what portion limonene is required to dissolve the Makerbot dissolvable filament.  Anyone know?

No water, straight orange.
If you dilute it, it becomes much less effective.
This isn't like cleaning the kitchen counter, you need full strength because you are diluting the orange with the dissolvable HIPS.

First, remove whatever HIPS you can break off. Then use the minimum pure d-limonene to completely submerge the part. Let it soak for about a day, stirring/shaking occasionally. If there's a lot of HIPS on the part, the d-limonene will eventually get saturated and stop dissolving any more HIPS. Then take it out, clean off any loosened HIPS that you can remove, and put it in a fresh d-limonene bath to take care of any residual.

The second partially-used d-limonene batch can be used as your first soak for the next part.
