Plastruder MK4 Assembly Question

Howdy gang, under the instructions to assemble the MK4 Plastruder, in the parts list a 100KOhm resistor is listed.. I've completed all the assembly steps on this page and the only place that part is discussed, is in that parts list. Is it a relic, or have I missed something?? The thermistor is a resistor, maybe they’re talking about that.

that should read thermistor...100k thermistor

If you're refering to the 1K ohm resistor, then it and the LED are for
fun; you don't need them:
