Fastening solutions for 3D printed stuff

Hi, 

I'm curious what you people out there are using for fastenings solutions between 3d printed parts in general. Bolt and screws? What about axes? I saw this post and this looks interesting:




If you have any good web sites where they stock pins with a groove like this and the lock-rings, I'd love to hear about them.

Wow - those things look great! I always just use M3 nuts and bolts, which isn't a great solution for making freely rotating joints.

What are you thinking about RS Components?

There's a company called Misumi that has a huge selection of them. I'm not sure if they have a presence in Denmark (is that where you are?) or if they'll ship there. Their site for US operations is www.misumiusa.com

Good luck! Pins and clips like that are handy, unless you're trying to fasten and unfasten them frequently, in which case they're annoying.
