What glue is recommended to glue parts together made with ABS?

Don't glue it. Use acetone to do a solvent weld. The acetone will melt ABS at room temperature and allow you to fuse them at least as well as if they were printed as one piece. You can apply acetone with a natural fiber brush.

A lot of people recommend using acetone or an ABS/acetone mixture.  However there are a number of commercial ABS cements available as well:

A quick look at the MSDS for these products shows that they're a mix of acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), and ABS.  In general:

ABS concentration could be 0-50% (typically 10-30%)
MEK concentration could be 25-100% (typically 25-65%)
Acetone could be 0-25% (typically 10-25%)

Acetone is a "fast" solvent (evaporates quicker) than MEK so it's used at a smaller concentration than MEK to get a better bond.

Duco cement in the green tube works well even on thin parts. It will
harden within one hour. Apply sparingly and remove excess with a blade
when dry.
Acetone will work but will eat away the plastic if applied too much
and will also change the color particularly if you use black.
You would then have to do the whole piece with acetone to make it
match.

Mmmm MEK. "The Acetone that doesn't stop working". I'd just use
Acetone though. MEK-based solvents aren't going to bond as fast so you
could wind up with a mess.
