Makerbot Replicator 2x
Firmware: Sailfish 7.4
Slicer: Kisslicer 1.1.0.14
S3g File:  GPX Converter

Layer Height: .1 mm
Print Time: 2hr 36 Min
Filament: 1.75mm Makerbot Navy Wool

Infill: 20%
Skin: .8mm
Shells: 3
Extrusion Width: .5mm
Nozzle Temp: 230c
First Layer Nozzle Temp: 235c
Bed Temp: 100c
Kapton Covered bed (Orginal 2 strip Kapton,  looking really bad)
Bed Leveled  with single sheet paper ~ .1mm
WhpThomas upgrade on extruders
Top Cover Lid Makerbot supplied temporary cover

Did not have any issues with sticking to bed or air printing.  This is actually one of many prints successfully completed at .1mm layer height.
Not as clean as PLA but I expect ABS really never will be.

I have included the gcode file which has the complete settings for Kisslicer listed and I included the Kisslicer profiles.

With Sailfish, and maybe the extruder upgrade I assume you should be able to try and print the attached gcode file with repg.  Also assuming a level bed set at ~.1mm

Fantastic detail, Thank you!  It appears I have a temp problem on my Replicator 2x, so once I get that worked out I will try this out!

Well this is pretty good detail for making an ABS consumer product. It even has a sheen to it.

Looking for someone whom can successfully print a good quality cylinder shape on a MakerBot Replicator 2x using ABS and a .1 mm Layer Height.

A good test subject for what I have failed to print over and over is this item.  It seemed like something challenging to print which is a good way to calibrate your machine I thought.  Although now, I am thinking maybe its impossible.

It seems like first few sticking layers are ok, then it warps it out and completely messes up the lower part of the cylindrical shape every time.  You will be able to tell pretty quickly and cancel the print.  Also, I never have a problem with it sticking to my build plate.  I am using the standard plate, with the kapton

If you could post your Successful Settings to this thread for others like myself to try out.

My FAILED Settings:

Temp
Extruders: 230
Build Plate: 110

Speed
Extruding:50 mm/s

Please do not post anything NON-MakerBot 2x related to this thread.
