Hi,

Does anyone know what type of male connectors are used on the Mightyboard for connecting the stepper motor cables.. Shown here ->  http://thingiverse-production.s3.amazonaws.com/renders/a3/4f/b2/4b/25/MakerBot_BotStep17_REVE_on_MightyBoard_display_large_preview_featured.jpg

And I found out that the connector type that plugs into the Nema 17's are a "jst hx" type shown here-> http://www.all-battery.com/browseproducts/A-pair-of-JST-XH-V2-4-Pin-Adapters-for-any-3-Cell-Pack.html

But I can't find out what type of connectors these are on the side that connects to the stepper drivers. I'm working on some projects and would like to be able to properly plug my steppers into my driver boards.

Thanks in advance,

-Tavis

Looks like Molex KK 156. The "156" means a 0.156" pin spacing. You might
want to measure with calipers, but that's what they look like to me.

You beat me to it, I was just about to ask if they were these http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/0026624030/WM4374-ND/2421305

No no. The JST side is the PH 2.0mm pitch connector family, while the other side is a standard 0.100" Molex KK style.

Oooops, sorry, I guess it's 0.156" KK, not 0.100".  I was just working up a quote for a printer manufacturer earlier today, and they wanted the 0.100"...

Oh, and it's the 6-pin connector on the motor side.  Pins 2 and 5 are unpopulated.

I'm not positive it's 0.156". But it looks bigger than 0.100".
That's why I suggested measuring it. (The connector on the HBP
for the ToM and Rep 1 is a 0.156" KK.)

It is the 0.156" -- at least on the Rev E Mightyboard.

The BOM calls it out as "KK-156-4 Stepper Connector" for locations A-STEPPER, B-STEPPER, X-STEPPER, Y-STEPPER, Z-STEPPER

The connector on my cupcake steppers was definitely Molex KK 0.156 - I recently had to source a couple to hook up some new steppers to some spare drivers I had from my cupcake upgrades...
