Ok, So I see the Rep2 that MBI is now selling, and I admiit- it looks nice. But I have model 1. I cant see upgrading any time soon (wife/wallet both say no).

I like whatI have, so, I want to make it work really well.

So, Can I use the the new MakerWare program with Model 1?

I have been reading, and I get it that its early, but I still dont really know the answer?

thanks guys.

Yes. I've seen a comment or two from people saying they're using it. This is at the top of the documentation page (emphasis mine):

MakerWare is an application developed at MakerBot to drive your Replicator or Replicator 2. It includes our brand new slicing engine, Miracle Grue, and allows you to create printing plates [...]

But it's beta, it may still have some rough edges.

They say that it works with the Rep 1, but that's not fully true.  It works only with the right extruder.  The left is unusable and currently unsupported.  You have to use RegG if you want to use the left or both.

Actually it should say single extrusion only. There are plenty of single head rep 1s.
