I use 2 m3 lock washers when I build the hot end for my plastruder.
It prevents vibration from loosening my hot end over hours of
building. I place 1 on each leg that holds the thermal barrier.

I have printed over 100 hours and never had ANY wiggle in my
plastruder hot end using this technique. Anyone see any issues with
adding this to the wiki as a sugjestion, or maybe makerbot coming off
the 4 cent it would take to add the washers to the kit?

hi spacexula
i personaly never had an issue with wiggles on the heater barrel
assembly...
and as far as i know if you experience wiggles i reckon your nozzle is
touching your build - which shouldn't really be happening...
on the acrylic insulator retainer you are supposed to use washers and
i believe it's also documented like that...
eitherway the wiki is user editable, so feel free to add your personal
comments after registering and account :)
