MakerBot Desktop 3.4

Hi, first post so here's a bit of background: We've had a Gen 5 Replicator at work for about 4 weeks and have been getting more reliability issues in the last week or so up to the point that yesterday colleagues reported it was bearly functioning. I've been reading through the post on here and have a good handle on what a lemon of a product it is!

Anyways, I noticed on MakerBot's blog they've realised version 3.4 of Desktop along with firmware 1.5, which I'm currently installing. I'm not holding out much hope that'll it'll fix the issues we've all been having but it's worth a try!

Let us know how it goes! We've seen noticeable decreases in quality in each successive update, to the point now where it's just spewing underextruded crap, I'm curious about how much of that they can fix with one update.

Firmware or software will not fix the issues with the smart extruder.  Although since I've added my oiler on the extruder I have printed a lot of stuff with no issues yet.
