I have a Gen5 and got error 50 message when trying to print things.
So I checked the voltage regulator in the extruder carriage and found burn marks.
Anyone got a fix for this? And if it is that easy, anyone know what the recommended replacement is? I wish I could find the specs of the voltage regulator.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You are lucky because I happen to have mine ripped apart
That said, Q13 is likely a MOSFET, not a regulator

Mine says:
W37 PZ
PB4041

I was unable to find a matching data sheet.

Hi Jae-Hoon,

I have exactly same issue. Did you fix the problem after replacing that MOSFET? Which mosfet did you choose?

Thanks,
Benson

Yes, I did. I've replaced with a PBSS4041PZ(60 V, 5.7 A PNP low VCEsat BISS transistor) and now It works like charm!

Additionally, if you still got the same error after replacing it then I think you should replace your smart extruder as the extruder might be damaged too.

Good luck,
Jaehoon.
