Hi everyone,

I have a wanhao mightyboard in my Replicator 1... and though this has all the markings for the LED strip on itself... there's no plug on the board.

Now my Replicator 1 has no lights... which is ok, but... does anyone know if you can maybe just feed 24v to the led strip to make it shine white light for instance? It does help when working in low light.

Thanks

Yes, the LED strip has current limiting resistors built into the strip.

Basically, 4,3,2 pins get shorted together to ground and then pin 1 is the 24V source.

See the schematic

And then looking at the board, you can see the outline of the connector showing where pin 1 would be in relationship to the board.
Again pin 1 is 24V and 2,3,4 are grounded for full on white.
