MakerBot Unicorn Challenges at Thingiverse leading up to Botacon: 4 Unicorn Pen Plotter Prizes!

Hey folks!

I'm giving away four MakerBot Unicorns in two weeks (Dec 11th) at
Botacon: prizes for four Thingiverse.com challenges that are designed
to stimulate the use of MakerBot Unicorn and other pen plotters in the
Makerbot/Thingiverse community:

1) Inkscape-to-Makerbot-Gcode Challenge (inkscape unicorn-gcode
extension competition)
2) Fill/Tone/Crosshatching Tool Challenge (inkscape hatch/crosshatch/
fill extension competition)
3) Favorite Robots Design Challenge – Single-Pass (art with one pen
tool)
4) Favorite Robots Design Challenge – Multi-Pass (art requiring more
than one pass with more than one pen tool)

And guess what, you folks have a leg up for this competition given
your background with the tool. (Even if you have a Unicorn, you can
win another one and trade it or gift it or sell it! We'll talk....)

I'm also going to showcase Unicorn-printable designs from Thingiverse,
so please add the tag "unicorn" to any work on Thingiverse you want me
to print and display even if it isn't a contribution to the "Favorite
Robots" competition. Or better yet, bring (or mail) your work to the
Botacon conference!

Also, I've challenged the Eggbot Community to get involved with
competing in this challenge and a few of them are already working on
Inkscape extensions...so the challenges might prove pretty exciting
this year! Those folks really know their Inkscape....
