Mohit: yes we will make it open source, to thank the legacy we've inherited, and to encourage the same in India. So that our business is also viable, we'll open source our current minus one version. That means that the current design will be open sourced in a few weeks, when we start shipping our first orders (which will be an updated design).

Rajesh: We have already started selling, and got our first customers, who happen to be non-reprappers :) If you buy, you'll be the first customer from the community, and hence eligible for a special price :) Mail us for details.
