Hey Time Makers,

Our next meetup is set for February 4th. Who's in? What digital
designs will you have to show?

Here's the eventbrite thing. I'm going to put it up on the blog this
weekend so that people from this group can RSVP now.

http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2847435757

I'm going to reserve the MakerBot Botfarm for printing out things from
this group on Thursday and Friday, the 2nd and 3rd so that when we get
together we can have lots of parts to play with. If you've got clock
parts you want me to push out on the botfarm, upload them to
Thingiverse and shoot a url to the list and I'll have the team here
start cranking them out.

BTW, is the event (and this list) top secret, or can I tell a couple colleagues who would be interested?

It's mentioned on a publicly-accesible/visible mailing list.  It's not top secret. :-)

Ha!  That is awesome.  Here's a link with more info and other example videos of flying ball escapements:

Hi,

The Pendulum Pivot Plate with the series of four pulleys will probably not print as is.  The pulley array will print more cleanly as a separate piece.

We'll start printing these today and will let you know how it goes.

ah yea. I should have known.
Thanks for noticing!
I uploaded new pieces as separate parts.

Is it alright to just show up to watch and learn the process?  I'm a software engineer, but I haven't touched the 3d stuff yet.
