The source files for version 0.2 of the MakerSlider are now available on Github:

I've updated the endcaps to completely cover the ends of the makerslide (hey! actual caps!) and added a hole so they can be bolted to the ends. The previous version popped off under pressure (i.e. when the camera was mounted and the carriage was hurtling toward the end, there was no safety there to prevent the camera from popping the endcap off).
