Maker Faire Austin Entries: Deadline Extended
In a talk I gave recently, I remarked that Makers don't need a
competition to create things. They only need a deadline. A deadline
serves as a goal for getting things done.
We are certainly seeing lots of proposals coming in at the deadline,
which we really appreciate. This allows us a good amount of time to
organize the layout of Maker Faire. Thank you to all who submitted
an entry by the August 15th deadline. We will get back to you by
August 21 with a response.
However, we wanted to also extend the deadline, given that it's
approaching the end of summer and schools are not yet in session.
Those of you who need more time now have it. The new deadline is
Thursday, September 6. We'll respond to this group of entries by
September 20.
