I am looking for someone who can hold a class (or as many needed)
working in working with PLC's. How to program, troubleshoot, ect...
PLC's. If someone can donate some time to do this, it would be
GREAT!!

You might try emailing the DorkbotPDX list, too -- I know there are a few people on there with experience developing for PLCs. http://dorkbotpdx.org/wiki/mailing_lists

I spent 3 years in food process automation doing PLC stuff.... do you
have equipment? Not all are created equal, but I might be interested,
doubtful I can do it at the next meeting, but I think we could work
something out.

*waves hello to Thomas* How's it goin my dorkbot buddy!!!

I have been trying to find the disk with the plc software on it at my
work. No one seems to know where it is. I think its RS-500 logix
something sounding like that. I found a web page full of downloadable
pdf pages (can't post a link now) for learning everything about plc's.
But, I want to get my hands on the software and hardware involved,
because I learn better that way. I do have (I think) an 8 bit, or 8
channel plc card (I don't remember its at Brads), but that is all. If
you are there Sunday, any advice would be helpful. Thanks
