We had a great time with the Community Science & Technology Night.

There were four news crews out to cover the event. Cynthia Kramer with
SCOPE Missouri did a great job raising awareness of science and
technology which also provided us an opportunity to get our message
out about Make:KC.

A special thanks to Richard and Curt for bringing out your line
following robots and to Jason for bringing the Wimshurst machines.
Also thanks go out to Steve for helping pass out information about
Make:KC at his exhibits with the UMKC Physics Department. Steve always
has a way to steal the show. Everyone in the building knew when Steve
was up to something. It was a lot of fun.

The Boys & Girls Club have a great facility and It was a good chance
to meet new people and hopefully build new alliances with Make:KC.

I hope we can get links to each of the news stories to add to our web
site.
