St. George Day and Public Day

We are moving public day to Sunday this week since Saturday is the St. George Day Festival at Thompkinsville Park (Bay St and Victory Blvd). Come out for a full day of activities! 

We will have public day on Sunday from 1-3pm. I will be trying to teach myself arduino to use to make little crochet robots!

Does anyone want to volunteer to help with the table the Make.SI has at St. George Day? It would be from 3-5pm, and we are taking computer keyboard keys and stringing them into bracelets and necklaces for kids that come to the table. The keys already have holes drilled in them. We just need extra hands to help the kids. Let me know if you are interested in volunteering to help!

I am trying to find out what time our slot is. I believe it is from 3-5pm. I think I have most everything at home now (soaking all the keys in bleach....keyboards are NASTY). I may need to finish drilling holes in some of the keys, though, so I plan to get to the garage around 2. So yeah, we can meet at the garage. 

I don't think you need to bring anything!

Actually, I am going to get to the garage around 1. I will probably try to be at the festival around 2 or 2:30 to set things up.
