Hello there.

These have been fantastic last few days of accomplishments and celebrations - most popular of which has been World cup cricket won by India which has set a merry mood throughout. Today is also the auspicious day of the start of the lunisolar Hindu calendar year - celebrated by Maharashtrians as Gudi-padwa and by the people in the Deccan regions as Ugadi (Yug-adi - the start of a new era).

The small team of individuals that was drawn together by their interest in photography around July 2010, has been busy too - God knows we've been busy and thankfully, finally, a day has arrived for us to proudly share our progress and our work with you. On this auspicious day of the start of the year, we share with you the news that our travel photography portal is now officially inaugurated and awaits your visit at http://picsnplaces.com.

Our milestones -

We had started from 3 and have now grown to a total strength of 10+ steady members (3 founding members, 1 executive designer, 2 one time contributors and a growing number of contributors who share their work for publishing with us on an ongoing basis).
Our stock of assorted photos has grown to a total of 800+ selected images and is growing.
We are now a professionally recognized member of the Association of Independent Businesses across Europe.
Our website has a Facebook edition at http://facebook.com/picsnplaces which has a fan-count of 250+.

This has been an excellent and fulfilling year and we invite you to be a part of our future. See the sneak-shot of our web page (attached). Hope you'll like it - we surely do.
