Hi,
We have been working on an open source P2P web cache named Dalesa since 2009. Recently we released version 1.2.0 of the software which works on windows (Xp, Vista, Seven) and Linux. Our primary objective was building a distributed web cache that could improve response time and bandwidth usage on poor Internet connections. Such networks are quite typical in developing regions, therefore we are looking forward to deploy it in several developing regions. Dalesa was developed by Lanka Software Foundation and funded by ICT agency of Sri Lanka.
