Fun example of urban farming

This family in California has created an "urban homestead" with many
fun elements, and all on their home's 8000 square foot urban lot. I'd
love to live in a space like this! We have a much smaller lot, but
are taking small steps such as planting an organic fruit, vegetable,
and herb garden.

One project I'd like to work on with Make it Green Houston is to make
a small solar powered fan and lamp. Looking forward to meeting you
