Feb 28th meeting 10-12pm

Hello all,

Our next meeting is Sat. Feb. 28th at 10 am at Nell and Dean's Farm,
Vegetable Matter. The farm is located at 7525 Jay St
Houston, Tx 77028 . They grow vegetables for sale in the local
farmer's markets. The farm also is the home to ducks, chickens, goats
and rabbits.

During this workday, we'll learn about solar hot water heaters by
helping them install one.

RSVP so that we can know how many to expect. .

Their farm is a working farm so wear clothes that you don't mind
getting muddy and wear protective footgear. They also have poison ivy
so cover up. Bring whatever beverages you need to keep hydrated.

Hi everybody, we're looking forward to the workshop this weekend, putting up a solar water heater.  Please don't be scared off by the poison ivy - it's pretty easy to avoid and we won't be working near it.  We'll start with a tour, then work on the heater.  If you get lost or have a question, feel free to call Nell (832.630.9556) or Dean (832.618.2032)

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately my work schedule will prevent me from attending this fascinating event but I very much would like an opportunity to visit your urban farm. I'm free Monday through Wednesday and most of the day Friday. I would like to see the completed solar water heater after next weekend.
