The spooky bit is the song he picked to follow – ‘farewell to Nancy’. My great granny and granny were both called Agnes. To differentiate between them, my granny was called Nancy! If you consider that he mentioned my photo and took the poem from a collection dedicated to my mother that means that four generations of women from my family got included in the one feature! Rather appropriate for Mother’s Day…
