Hi folks

As was said in the last mail, we have been a little quiet lately, but we have several readings coming up in May, so will keep you posted.

One or two recent successes which deserve a mention:

Rowena and Sheila have each had poems accepted for the forthcoming New Writing Scotland 27 anthology which should be out in July. It's published by ASLS [Assoc for Scottish Literary Studies, Glasgow Univ.] Sheila's poem is Totality; Rowena's is Gutter Girl.

Rowena had a poem, Late in the Day, in the most recent Scots Magazine, as well as the lovely experience of hearing Robbie Shepherd read her Great Grannie poem on Mother's Day. And an excellent job he made of it too!

Finally, Sheila has just had a poem, Sea-Maa's Breakfast, accepted in the Bards in the Bog poetry competition run by Shetland Libraries. Only 6 poems accepted out of 100s of entries from home and abroad! So Sheila is very delighted. They will be posted on the Shetland Library web site this week. The address is www.shetland-library.gov.uk

And we'll be reading all these new poems at our various gigs in May!

Best Wishes

Sheila, Rowena and Michael.
