Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to install older versions of any of the tools. I have recently updated the tool to rna_majiq-3.0.13.dev1+g2db64969, but my previous analysis was run with majiq-v3 v3.0.10.dev1+g6cdae2a0. So, for reproducibility in the tests I'm doing right now, I was just wondering if it is possible to go back on versions, and if so, how should I do it.

Thank you in advance!

Best,

Hi Miriam,

Similar to the installation instructions, which specify how to install v2, you can add the version tag to the end of the pip install string, in other words $ pip install https://<majiq link from instructions>@v2.5.11  (where "@v2.5.11" can be changed to any tagged version)

Let me know if it makes sense.
Thanks,

Hi San,

thanks for the info! I was also wondering on how can I just update voila (I have tried to just update voila but I end up updating everything).

Best,

Miriam

Note: I've tried doing it with "pip install -v git+https://bitbucket.org/biociphers/majiq_academic/voila", but it updated everything

Hi Miriam,

The correct syntax for installing one subpackage, specifically voila, is:

Let me know if it helps.
