Dear Biociphers team,

We have been using Majiq and need to share our results with other academic users in our institution.

I see in your instructions for Voila: "After downloading the appropriate zip file for your current operating system".

Where can I find these zip files? I need them for windows users and Mac users as well.

Hi Noa,

The wide availability of the flat binary versions has been put on hold mainly due to incompatibility in certain dependency packages on various apple silicon hardware. We will look to revisit these "frozen" versions as the python development community catches up, and our priority returns to it.

At this time, for ease of both you and your collaborators, we would highly recommend hosting voila as a web server. This allows your collaborators to simply navigate to an address in their web browser and thus no data transfer or installations are required. The web server can also be secured with a password. Please let me know (privately) if you have access to any type of server machine you can use (web host, HPC, etc) , and I might be able to help you get this set up.
