Dear MAJIQ Development Team:

Recently I was using the command majiql.py in the academic version of MAJIQ 2.5.6 and realized that this command does not exist in the academic version. Where can I find this script file if I want to use MAJIQ for length-related research?

Best,

Hi happypiggy,

If you want to use majiql.py to compare contrast short and long reads for splicing analysis, you can download the script form here: https://bitbucket.org/biociphers/majiq-l/src/main/

To use that script, you need to obtain long read voila file by running VOILA lr which is part of  MAJIQ 2.5.6 and then feed that file to majiql.py. Let me know if you have more questions!

Best,

Seong

Hi,
Seong

Thanks for your reply, now that I have found the relevant script file, it really helped me a lot!

Allow me to ask a further question, is the academic version currently up-to-date at 2.5.6 (e.g. version 2.5.6.dev1+g8423f68b on my side),I've been preparing to redo my data recently because of some parameter issues, but I'm a bit worried that my version isn't up-to-date and that it will have an impact on the results. If the current version I have is the latest, or this version will not have an effect on the results, please let me know~

Hope you have a happy day o(* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ

Best,
