majiq license help~

Dear all, 

I downloaded the Majiq v3 version (v3.0.15.dev1+g720c9976). I ran the standard GFF3 processing command:

bash

majiq-v3 gff3 \ $GFF3 \ $OUT/annotations/sg.zarr

It exited with this critical error:

2025-12-26 22:39:19,640 (CRITICAL) - No Majiq License files were found, exiting

what can i do now? I'm so confused with this. Could any one help me?

Hello, 

In order to use the software for academic use, you must agree to the license agreement and download the license file by visiting https://majiq.biociphers.org/app_download/

After you download the license file, you can place it in your current directory or home directory or a location pointed to by an environment variable (it's documented in the instructions, let me know if you have any trouble with it after that).
