I am using Apple M2 and macOS sonoma 14.5.

I think I have all the dependencies required but I still get the error message. Is there a way I can install MAJIQ on my computer?

Hi Cheong,

I see that this pip is looking to install from pyproject.toml only, whereas the currently release majiq v2 uses setup.cfg (however, this will be updated in the next release to use only pyproject.toml method). I believe you might be getting this message because of some changes or depredations in python version 3.12 -- can you please try to use the supported python version 3.10 and see if this resolves your issue (or presents a different issue)?
