And then there is all the baby nonsense with Ted (Alec Baldwin) and Tim (James Marsden replacing Tobey Maguire) all grown up getting turned back into babies to help the new boss Baby Tina (Amy Sedaris) defeat Jeff Goldblum baby from taking over the world.

To say I dislike this baby world and story would be an understatement. Evidently it appeals to others but not me. I hate the design of the characters especially the adults with the bulbous heads and giant eyes. I hate the story with the brothers fighting and then being turned back into babies. Groan.

Every mom has a birth story to tell. For me, this would be my last. After this, we are closing the factory, so I made sure to savor every moment of this miraculous occasion. The day Boss Baby Brody was born was unlike anything I expected, but it was one of the best days of our lives! Surrounded by family and supported by my amazing husband, baby Brody was born to the happiest mom in the world!

After ten minutes of pushing, and a total of four pushes, out he came! After three deliveries, it becomes a little easier as you can imagine. So yes, I delivered him like a boss. Or should we let my football star husband take the credit?! Regardless, our baby was perfect. He was better than perfect, he was mine. Beautiful black hair like his daddy and full lips like, well, we are not sure who has those lips, but he does.

My sister-in-law, who is also one of my closest friends, stepped in and went above and beyond to make this transition as smooth as possible. I am so blessed to have her as my family. She is the epitome of what being selfless is. I am so inspired by her generosity and love.

In fact, every episode is inundated with fake product plugs and endorsements. There are also ongoing themes of elitism and idolizing fame throughout the entire season.

Parents need to know that The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib is part of the Boss Baby series of movies and shows. It has lots of sarcastic humor, as well as a persistent theme of consumerism: Characters repeatedly participate in faux product plugs and advertisements. Baby Corp. promotes the idea of "top five percenter" babies who are worth more than all the others due to being the cutest and, therefore, the most lovable. A lot of time is devoted to the idea that earning money based on looks and popularity is most important, and some babies are labeled as "undesirables." There's very little realistic violence, but things start off with the Boss Baby (voiced by JP Karliak) being framed for embezzlement and a SWAT team coming to find him. Baby Corp. also keeps the cutest baby in the world locked in a box, only to let her out for 8 seconds at a time. The babies repeatedly refer to engaging in trash talk. There's body humor, mild language like "butt," and put-downs like "back-stabbing traitor," "loser," "ding-dongs," and more.

In THE BOSS BABY: BACK IN THE CRIB, Theodore Templeton (voiced by JP Karliak), the original Boss Baby, is all grown up, and a leading tycoon who's framed for his colleagues' embezzlement. To escape from the FBI, Teddy takes a swig of the Super Secret Baby Formula and turns back into a baby. He seeks refuge in his brother Tim's house, greeted by his two nieces, Tabitha and Tina, and their mom, Carol. He also rejoins Baby Corp. to get a supply of the milk mix to keep up with his baby ruse. Tina and Teddy end up working together as co-bosses at the same company. Tabitha ends up joining the "uncuddlables" to stop the Baby Corp.'s five-percenter program. Tina and Teddy join hands against Tabitha and the uncuddlables to stop them from sabotaging Baby Corp.'s money-making schemes.

Parents tuning in expecting innocent laughs and positive themes will be sorely disappointed in the first 90% of this new series. Sadly, too much of The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib, the latest installment of the Boss Baby franchise, is dedicated to humor and escapades centered on a message of consumerism that its satire doesn't mask. While Teddy and Tina ultimately come to realize that all babies are loveable, it takes them 11 of the season's 12 episodes to acknowledge the flaws in Baby Corp.'s policies of valuing only those babies they deem to be in the top 5% of cuteness. Additionally, they spend the majority of that time fighting with Tina's sister over the policies, insisting that the rest of the babies are "losers" and teens "the uncuddlables." Thus, the previous themes of family solidarity in the Boss Baby franchise are noticeably absent.

There are some real moments of humor, and fast-paced, spy-level escapades paired with adorable animation are entertaining and fun. But even these are interspersed with a ridiculous number of jokes emphasizing fame, product placements, and advertising. The mocking nature of which will go right over the heads of most of the show's child viewers. Unfortunately, this show's central satire, and therefore its lessons, will fail to resonate with its young viewers.

Families can talk about the problems with Baby Corp.'s elitist policies. Why do they upset Tabitha? What's wrong with focusing only on the "five-percenters"? How would that make the other 95% of babies feel? Why isn't it OK to link how loveable someone is with how cute they are?

There are a lot of fake advertisements in this show. What do you think the creators are trying to point out about making choices based on making money? Is this a good way to make decisions? Does it lead to the new head of Baby Corp. making good choices?
