I have now read several draft dissertations and dissertation proposals - there are still many of you who do not seem to understand how to make proper academic reference in your papers - especially in your literature reviews.

Use the LEEDS guide that I refer to below (first sent to you in mid-July).

Almost all of you need to be able to learn how to provide proper referencing of other papers and research.

Most of you have done some basic reading and have supplied a good reference list - but in the body of your writing you are not providing a proper reference. As you move to the next stage - and need to include a thorough literature review - you will need to reference properly in an accepted academic way.
