Position: Lighting Designer

Basic Job Description: The Lighting Designer is responsible for the creation of the lighting design for a given production. Working in concert with Artistic Staff and Production Personnel, the Lighting Designer becomes part of a collaborative team. This team is led by the Director and strives to create a unified production and product.

Responsibilities:

1-Meet with the sales team and other members of the production team throughout the design process

2-Attend all design meetings

  • Create the following documents in order to communicate the design to all members of the production team:
    • Visual research: emotional, color, period and lighting
    • Design concept
    • Scene analysis
    • Ground Plan with acting areas marked
    • Working cross section
    • Channel hook up and instrument schedule
  • Define lighting requirements
  • Define design goals
  • Estimate efficiencies of the optical, thermal and electrical systems
  • Calculate the number of LEDs needed

Qualification- B.Tech(ECE)

Industry: Semiconductors / Electronics

Functional Area: Engineering Design, R&D
 
Role: Fresher
