Hi All,

So happy all my detox buddies are still going strong. I really miss
you all and miss detoxing too. I can't wait until I can do it again.

I think I must be the only genius who decided to go off birth control
for the detox. So I'm about 5 1/2 months pregnant now, but thankfully
I still weigh less than I did pre-detox. One nice benefit is that I
still had all my chubby clothes and can still wear them, so I haven't
had to buy too many maternity clothes. I also am so much healthier
than I was before. I'm sure I could not have survived the first
trimester and planned a rush wedding (my fiance--now husband-- and I
moved it up to December for obvious reasons) without detoxing first.
What a whirlwind the last few months have been!

I don't even want to tell you how bad my diet's been. For the first
trimester all I could do was eat bread and butter all day to survive
my morning sickness. I know its awful--such poor nutrition for the
little one--but what can you do?

I can't wait to detox afterward to lose any weight gain and feel great
again. Not sure how long that will be--I nursed my son for almost two
years, and would never detox while nursing, so it could be a while. I
hope you're all still around when the time comes.

Congrats Wendy and Lisa on all your weight loss!

Love and blessings to all!

D

Ps. I miss my chi machine. Not safe for pregnancy and so I've adopted
her out to remove the temptation. :(

Hi all! SoCalGal, you are not the only one. I got pregnant just
shortly after my detox. Actually, I was doing a short 7-day detox
about a month after my detox and couldn't figure out why I was craving
protein so much. I only made it 3 days! I guess my body really
needed the protein for the little one! I am 21 weeks right now and
much healthier than I was with my first pregnancy. Also, I still
weigh more than 10 pounds less than I did pre-detox and have not been
gaining weight nearly as rapidly as I did with my first.

I'm also looking forward to doing another detox. But, like you, it
will most likely be awhile since I nursed Ashleigh for about a year.

Oh, and I am having a boy!!! I hope all is well with everyone here
that helped me in the past.
Hugs, Heather

To Heather and Deana, Congratulations to you both! I am so happy for
each one of you and the new beginnings that soon be...glad to see you
both on line as well and yes, everyone misses both of you too...I try
to stay busy with the mvdd group just to keep myself on track but it
is such a "sweet treat" for me to chat with one of the gals from past
detox days...Please send some shouts out to us all when the time comes
for each delivery. I will keep you both in my thoughts for good health
to continue and hugs to you both and those beautiful/handsome babies
to come..big hugs from Kenutcky, Priscilla
