Hi guys,

I am starting the detox tomorrow getting everything ready for the next
21 days and I am really nervous. I am glad I found this group because
I am a person who needs support when going through a transition. I
welcome any suggestions in order to make this experience a more
pleasant one.

Thank you,

Laura

Welcome Laura,

Treat yourself like a QUEEN on this detox diet. Because this diet
requires sacrifices, make appropriate luxury treatments for yourself.
Remember always: YOU deserve it!!

See my recent post to Toya:

In addition to what I wrote there, it is minimumly vital that you
schedule yourself a massage for each week with a therapist that makes
you feel in love the massage process. There are mediocre therapists,
and then there are therapists that our out of this world! Those are
the ones you feel like you are in heaven! use candlelight, and
calming, soothing music in addition to having "the touch". And guess
what? They cost exactly the same! Finer salons have these miracle
workers. Always ask for quantity discounts upfront.

Coffee enemas each week: will make you feel so much better, and can
change your life. You will feel "cleaner" than ever when your
intestines dump, it will improve your body's function for the
future, so I can't say enough about it. Your gallbladder will come
alive and start working again. Nothing else will make this big a
change in your body. What is exciting about this, is it is ever so
Inexpensive!! An enema bottle costs only around $10.00. See example:

If you check types available in your local drugstores: RiteAid, CVS,
Walgreens, etc., you will find they can serve double duty as douche
bags and hot water bottles, which makes them multi-functional and even
worth more for the $. and coffee is relatively inexpensive. I have
had colonics regularly for 3 years, but never did a coffee enema till
this diet. I find enemas providing much more improvement each time
than from any colonic (though I do recommend trying colonics at least
to do a thorough cleansing during the 21 days), plus there is that
self-pride that comes from doing something very personal just for
yourself.

When you do your enemas, employ all the techniques Dr. DeLuz
suggests: candles, essential oils, soft music, pillows, blanket, big
luxurious towel under you, ORGANIC coffee. I highly recommend this
trusted brand which you can enjoy in your coffee pot, as it is
DELICIOUS (similar flavor but better than Starbucks because it is
truly Organic):
Jim's Organic Coffee: Jo Jo's Java, only $6 for 12 ounces.

I've now added this as my weekly routine for the rest of my life,
because of the improvement I've experienced. What I do is use this as
an opportunity to clean my entire bathroom, set up the items on the
floor, and relax into completing the enema, and then having a nice,
luxurious bath with essential oils and (inexpensive) epsom salts from
the drugstore (ask for the big bags, half the price! -- often they are
physically located away from the small expensive bags), and then add
just a tablespoon of these heavenly, awesome scented salts for an
incredible, uplifting mood:
EO Essential Oil Bath Salts Rose Geranium & Citrus - 21.5 oz,
http://www.vitacost.com/EO-Essential-Oil-Bath-Salts
Just a Tbsp of these Bath salts fills the entire house with a
wondrous, uplifting scent.

Good luck!

Ilona
